Commander’s Update, April 2025 – VFW Post 10141, The Friendly Post
Comrades, Auxiliary, and Friends of the Post,
March was another busy and fun month at VFW Post 10141, and I want to start by
congratulating Jackie Pappas, our winner of the March Volunteer Drawing! A huge shoutout
goes to all of our volunteers—we truly couldn’t do it without you. Your time and dedication are
what keep the Friendly Post thriving. As a reminder, the Volunteer Drawing is held on the first
Tuesday of each month during the Jam Session—a fun tradition that allows us to recognize those
who keep showing up and stepping up.
It was a true honor to commemorate Vietnam Veterans Day and the 50th Anniversary of the end
of the Vietnam War. A heartfelt thank you to Denise, Andy, Cassie, and Jamie for volunteering
and helping to make the day so special. The Honor Guard delivered a powerful and meaningful
service that will not be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who came forward to share stories and
say thanks. The support and turnout were a beautiful reminder that **VFW Post 10141 will
always be home for our Vietnam Veterans—**you will never be forgotten.
